I am very proud to announce that I will be doing a Future Lovers Japan Fundraiser raffle which will be drawn on the 9th April. Tickets are just $10 AUD each.
The prize will be the very special matching handmade Neo and Petite goggle set called ‘Tears of The Cherry Blossom’ pictured below. They are a beautiful set of matching red flocked goggles with crystal glitter detail on the front and clear/glitter lenses. They really are a stunning set and won’t be made again.
All proceeds will go to JEARS (for the animals) and Red Cross (for the humans) in a 50/50 spilt.
If you’d like to enter please send me an email to linda[at]addictedtoplastic.com and I will give you the details.
Please enter so we can raise funds for the animals and people of Japan :)
Many thanks
Linda
In a fantastic turnaround, Mattel have reconsidered their position re Monster High in Australia. Although initially there were no plans for the MH range to be carried in Australia, Mattel this week confirmed that Monster High will indeed be available here officially from April 2011, although collectors have already made in-store sightings of both the dolls and plushies at some Big W and Target stores around the country. Unfortunately my local stores are yet to add MH to their shelves but it can't be long before Frankie & Co will be winning hearts here in Oz!

After a very long wait, Neo Blythes have now hit Australian shelves! She will be available through the following David Jones stores:
NSW – Elizabeth St, Chatswood & Bondi Junction
VIC – Melbourne Bourke St
QLD – Brisbane Queens Plaza
As well as Mr Toys collector stores (who also have an online store). The 4 dolls available at launch will: Very Vicky, Nicki Lad and Simply Vanilla & Chocolate.
I recently interviewed Nicki Antico from Hasbro about the launch and the interview will be in the next AddictedToPlastic.com podcast which is coming soon!
I am super excited to let you know that I have just had news that Blythe herself will be gracing Australian stores in February 2011! I will upload more news as it comes to hand but all I can say is...WOO HOO!! Welcome Blythe to Australia!!
